A lot has happened since the last Dev Talk. Artyom picks the thread back up: what shipped over the past few weeks, what the next patch brings, and what the team is building toward.
Season 1, in review Season 1 went live a few weeks ago with a new Agent, two tanks, a new Battle Pass, and a new post-match flow. It was a smoother release than our first, with fewer bugs and fewer crashes.
The July improvements Test drive any tank before you commit to it, a Credits boost from new starter missions, Ultimate cinematics off by default, and cleaner replay storage. The detail is in the 1.1.1 patch notes.
What is in the new patch Plant/Defuse, a fast round-based mode starting with weekend runs so we can gather your feedback and get it right. In-battle vehicle rotation returns, letting you switch to your Agent's other tank each time you respawn. Top 100 leaderboards arrive in a first iteration with basic ranking criteria. Alongside those: fixes to the tutorial mission, an improved gamepad experience, and stability work. The 1.1.2 patch notes go through the whole release line by line.
Season 2, Fire and Ash A new Agent and three new tanks join the roster, including a second machine for Ember, plus a new map to explore. Season 2 also marks the start of our seasonal framework: a new season roughly every three months, each with its own theme, content, and story. We will share more very soon.
Further out Social features to play together and competitive features to display your mastery are among the things you ask for most. We are currently looking into both. There is no timeline we can commit to right now, and we will share more down the line.
