The Results Are In
This weekend's Showdown is done, and
971 of you walked away with a reward. Special shoutout to
superhamutarou01, who basically lived on the leaderboards all weekend:
16 of the 51 boards across all three days, and the biggest Tech haul of the whole event.
Here are the top single-battle scores from each day:
[th]Day[/th][th]Challenge[/th][th]Player[/th][th]Vehicle[/th][th]Result[/th]
| Day 1 | Kills + Assists | IVI14 | XM1V | 66 |
| Day 2 | Damage | FxRalph | Leo 2FK | 99,703 |
| Day 3 | In-match Score | MARS_9527 | Leo 2FK | 25,915 |
Actually winning a board was tough. Only 44 players pulled it off, and just five won more than once, with
superhamutarou01 and
Personazh2212 each taking three. A couple even won the same tank on different days, which is no small thing when the scoring rule keeps changing on you:
AET3RNAL on the XM1 90 (Days 1 and 2) and
Yzhe_Nikto on the Leo 1A6A1 (Days 2 and 3).
Some boards were ridiculously close. Three of them on Day 1 ended in a flat tie, so the win went to whoever got there first. The Day 3 Leo 1A6A1 board? Decided by 25 points.
Not every tank pulled the same crowd. These were the ones you fought over most:
[th]Vehicle[/th][th]Contenders / day[/th][th]Note[/th]
| M1E1 | 6,300-6,800 | The people's tank |
| Leo 1A6A1 | 6,000-6,600 | |
| XM1 90 | 4,000-4,400 | |
| M551A1 | 410-510 | The niche pick |
GG to everyone who jumped in. Tech rewards are going out now that the event has wrapped, and you can see the full event on the
Weekend Showdown page.
That's it for this week. Grab those Credits, come hang out on Wednesday's stream, and we'll see you out there.
